I've just submitted a proposal for a book about the Royal Trux album "Cats & Dogs", to the 33&1/3 series. It's by no means in the bag, so view the image I 'shopped at left as the mere fantasy it is. The record was made in '92-'93, and the book is composed mostly of letters between friends of mine (written at the time) and me (written at present), and draws fanciful geographical, psychic, and metapsychic connections between people and the things they love. The structure created eventually breaks down, absorbing voices and fragments, and mimicking the music to which it pays homage. A photo of my studio (before vacating it in October, now my studio is/are various coffee tables!) and the current project, a series of illustrations of Pascal in the maquette stage.
